All but one remain at this show. I panic twice as the lights go out. As I watch my dreams escape out the door, for those bright lights guarantee so much more. I was sure that New years restores. what, I'm not sure, there might not be a cure. And I was sure that New years restores.

Now it feels too much will be lost. Entertain, maintain a front at all costs. So much for love or what we thought was in store, for bright lights still mean so much more.
New years came but nothing changed, and Im still waiting for that better day. When new years came and nothing changed, I was left waiting for a better day.
